Outline:
Modern performance management centres on 'achieving results through other people'. As such, managing people is a very important part of making any organisation work well. Achieving organisational goals is only possible if the leaders' teams share their vision.
This course looks in detail at specific examples of how understanding the behaviour patterns, values and attitudes of others helps you to become an excellent manager of people. We also examine new concepts to develop the performance of the team.
Who should attend?
Managers with at least 12 months experience who wish to develop and enhance their leadership qualities, team building experience and individual performance management skills.

- How to understand people and react accordingly.
- Your impact on people as a manager.
- Why people react the way they react.
- Motivating individuals.
- Putting 'round pegs in round holes.'
- Dealing with conflict.
- Looking at motivation from a different angle.

- Understand the dynamics of employees' behaviour. Read the situation correctly every time and apply appropriate Management Input.

- Achieve better matches between jobs and people, using the above information.
