Trainer Profiles.

Steven Brewer

Steven is a man of great presence with the ability to discover the power within people and innovate. He is an extraordinary trainer and a gifted communicator who can clarify traditionally difficult topics without losing any of the richness that simplification can bring. His special skill of assisting people to integrate what they learn during training, whilst they are learning it, has earned him the admiration of other trainers of other trainers and his corporate clients alike.

He has spent 18 years at the sharp end of business to business sales and training within blue chip organisations. During this time he won awards for his ability in direct sales and managing teams nationwide. In his role as a free lance consultant and trainer he has helped many companies to realise their full potential via a successful, well trained and highly motivated sales operation. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management.

On behalf of Train2 Steven has worked with Anheuser Busch, Ingersoll Rand, GSK, Gallaher Tobacco, EDF, London Energy, Tarmac, Surfcontrol, CMC and many others.

Sue Tompkins

Sue has 12 years experience in managing businesses through change. She has learnt about the reality of working on the front line, introducing IT enabled change, facilitating deregulation of the electricity industry and kick starting innovation in a major retailer by developing opportunities for growth.

Sue’s breadth of experience and her warm, intuitive personality are a weighty combination to help your business. Her aim is to support your leaders and teams in developing practical skills – skills which focus on delivering business results, creating a stimulating workplace and minimising the stress of change.

Sue has designed a range of training modules to cover key capabilities for success: leadership, teamwork, communication, project management and emotional intelligence. The content is specifically targeted at the realities of change and how to respond to the issues associated with it.

To ensure that the right training is delivered for your business circumstances, Sue will mix and match the training modules to suit your needs and can also support you in the workplace with expert facilitation and coaching.

In the past Sue has worked with ICI, Vertex, Boots, United Utilities, Welsh Water plus many others.

Jack Roberts

Jack has many years experience working in marketing. A former Marketing Manager for Halifax plc, he has now dedicated his life to helping companies apply the basic principles of marketing to their business.

He does this via consultancy and training. An experienced Chartered Marketer, he lives and breathes practical marketing for companies every day. This style is brought to you in his training – you will see and experience how marketing can be delivered in the real world, in your world. He is a member of both the Chartered Institute of Marketing who awarded him Chartered status and the Institute of Direct Marketing.

He believes that marketing is not just a set of communication tools and techniques – it is a way of doing business. It is a way of understanding your customer’s needs and wants and then tailoring all aspects of your company to meet those needs and wants. That’s what leads to profit and success. Jack’s skill is in giving you the skills to do that in your own company.

Mike Davies

Mike is a practicing consultant in personal, team and organisational performance since April 1997 after a long and successful career with IBM.

He is passionate about bringing humanity to the workplace – his personal journey beginning some 10 years ago, when he discovered that there are easier and better ways to approach work that bring greater levels of success, fulfilment and enjoyment.

Mike’s clear understanding of business, his broad range of experiences and his ability to think outside tradition, positions him as an inspirational leader with the credentials to earn respect at all levels and influence others to be creative, innovative and effective.

Mike has successfully worked with Barclays Bank, Rolls Royce, Toshiba, Unilever, British Airways, Zeneca plus many other small, medium and large organisations.

Doug Morris

Doug is an independent trainer and coach who for some years now has been running his own company designing and delivering a wide range of Management courses. He specialises in Stress reducing approaches to Management, Presentation Skills, Time Management and most Management soft skills.

When he was asked why he was involved in training and development his comment was, “I love the interactivity between trainer and participant and the way in which training can make such a difference to the way people work. “

Doug has a very relaxed, friendly and adaptable training style; he takes a keen interest in the development and career of each participant and has strong skills in questioning and listening, which enable him to build good rapport with them. He consistently obtains excellent training results and very positive feedback from participants.

Zita Richardson

Zita is a leading authority on Attitude. Delivering dynamic and energy driven keynote speeches and training programmes she ignites passion, self belief and the desire to unlock your potential and achieve outstanding results Her ability to captivate audiences with an amazing and continuous upbeat style creates an emotionally uplifting, feel good experience that inspires and motivates individuals to take immediate, positive action!

Achieving an ambition to work in radio allowed Zita to become at the time the youngest Sales Director for one of the countries largest Radio Groups, Emap. She holds an impressive track record as Sales Director of three of the largest North West radio stations in the UK and Managing Director for Liverpool's Dance and Indie station, formerly known as Crash FM.

Zita retired from Radio in March 2000 aged 34 years to pursue her ambition to set up her own business and as she says "help others to help themselves".

Now a member of the Professional Speakers Association, keynote speaker for Speakers International, Master Practitioner of NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) a concept derived from a study of excellence and featured speaker on Century FM regional radio station weekend show, Zita has appeared on numerous televisions programmes and regularly features in press.

Zita assists companies, institutions and individuals to achieve their goals. Her client base varies from the world of TV, sport, media, education, medicine, retail and business.

On a personal note, Zita is one of ten children and although having experiencing loss and tragedy at an early age including the death of her parents and sister, she has come through a divorce and has balanced her lifestyle as a working mother and businesswoman.
