Win-Win Negotiating.

A HBT negotiation training course is about skills development; it is about what happens during a negotiation, and how participants can achieve a better outcome in line with their interests.

We teach how to prepare for a negotiation, and explain negotiating techniques; where HBT excels is in coaching the effective application of these techniques. What distinguishes the HBT negotiation training course are the live negotiating practise sessions.

Working in teams the course participants undertake a series of live negotiating exercises, which are video recorded and then reviewed by the course tutor. This participant tutor ratio of 6 to 1 allows each individual to receive personal attention resulting in measurable improvement in performance.

The benefits:

  • Get the best deal for you which still allows 'them' a 'win' outcome
  • Increase profits
  • Develop trading rather than concession-making
  • Learn how to identify and deal with difficult customer behaviour
  • Plan more effectively for successful negotiations
  • Achieve better clarity of terms and fewer implementation hassles
  • Maximise power, reduce the fear of threats, and make realistic walk-away decisions
  • Find out how to use key tools to plan and monitor progress

Who should attend?

Sales managers, sales executives, purchasing managers, commercial, technical, financial or legal specialists involved in planning or executing commercial contracts or sales negotiations.
